Paticipation and Abstract Submission

The Organizing Committee of the VII REQOMED invites abstract submissions for any topic relevant to organic chemistry.

There are 3 ways to participate: (a) Invited Lectures (IL), (b) Oral Presentations (OP), (c) Poster (P)

Only one abstract per presenting author is allowed, but the same author can be co-author in other different abstracts.

Abstracts should be informative, presenting clearly the main objectives, the most significant results and a discussion.

Presentations:

Participants, who want to give a presentation, should clearly indicate this with the abstract submission. The organizing committee will decide about the possibilities for an oral presentation. All oral Presentations MUST use PowerPoint. Paper Reading will not be allowed. Presentations should be made in English, in case of using Spanish language please provide whole presentation material in English. The invited lectures should be presented in no more than 25 min followed by 5 minutes discussion. Oral communications should be presented in no more than 7 minutes (exactly) followed by 3 minutes discussion.

Participants invited by the Scientific Committee to present a contribution as Invited Lecture in the VII REQOMED Meeting can submmit the abstract until May, 15th 2015. Deadline extended until May, 22nd 2015.

Participants interested in presenting a contribution as Oral Presentation in the VII REQOMED Meeting can submmit the abstract until May, 15th 2015. Deadline extended until May, 22nd 2015. The acceptance or non-acceptance will be communicated by the Scientific Committee to the Presenter's e-mail address.

Participants interested in presenting a contribution to the Poster session in the VII REQOMED Meeting can submmit the abstract until May, 30th 2015.

Instructions to Submit Abstracts

The abstract must be written in English using the template that can be downloaded here.

Abstracts must be submitted, as a Word file, by e-mail to the Secretary of the Meeting: secretaria_viireqomed@uma.es. Please remember to indicate 'Abstract_(IL or OP or P)_Your Full Name_Affiliation' in the subject line.

Abstracts should be ONE A4 page at maximum, with two centimetres for each margin and with the following format:

Title: ALL CAPITALS, CENTERED, 12-POINT BOLDFACE TIMES NEW ROMAN TYPEFACE.

Author(s) Centered, with the name of the corresponding author, who will make the presentation, underlined. Use 12-Point boldface Times New Roman typeface. Superscript number refers to author’s affiliation.

Address(es) and affiliation(s): Author affiliations and contact information here, centered, 12-point Times New Roman Italic typeface.

Main text: Begin the abstract one space after the last Author Affiliation line. Do not skip a line between paragraphs. The text should be justified. Use 12-point Times New Roman typeface, and Symbol font if necessary. Color, black and white, gray scale images and drawings may be embedded into the text as desired. If images are included, please make sure that the resolution is suitably high and that color images print acceptably in gray scale. References should follow the format given below [1].

References: If references are needed, please use Use 12-point Times New Roman typeface and the following format:

We encourage authors submitting abstract that please follow these instructions to facilitate the edition of the Abstract Volume.

Deadline for abstract submission of oral presentations is May, 15th 2015. Deadline extended until May, 22nd 2015.

Deadline for abstract submission of poster presentations is May 30th, 2015.

Posters Instructions

Posters should be no larger than 90 cm (W) x 120 cm (H). They will be displayed and accessible during the entire duration of the Meeting. They should be hung by Wednesday afternoon and removed Friday morning after the coffee break.
